Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy
Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
An imaginative landscape chart generated in the CC3+ software platform.
Package Levels
Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu just below that, enabling adjustment of the distribution percentage goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
