Uche Fuels Straightforward Crystal Palace Victory at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden continental campaign, Crystal Palace are learning very quickly. Without star figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable win that all but guarantees them a place in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further three points in their next match against Finnish KuPS should be enough to secure direct entry to the last 16, particularly after a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This occasion offered a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a another, scoring for the second game in match.

The match was as good as over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some weak challenges before coolly dispatching a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
After the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring his first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still room for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
